Devyn and I went to high school together! In 2013 we began working together online, and even then she was making awesome progress. However, it was not to long before she found out she was expecting her second baby! After giving birth to her baby girl I contacted her about training again. I let her know we were moving back to the area and I would love to get to work with her again! We have been working on just cleaning up her diet and adding back in exercise post baby.
The amount of dedication she has to living a healthy lifestyle is motivating enough! She is a mother of two, works a full time job, busy with family and very active in the community. Being able to apart of her journey has been amazing!
The great thing about Dev is that he is utterly honest about how things are going. Communication is key when working with any trainer. We believed there should be open lines of communication both ways, whether things are going great or not so great. Making lifestyle changes are difficult and sometimes you need a little more guidance than what is offered in a one on one session. :)
She has done so awesome that we have asked her to be our walking talking billboard for the rest of the year! She has agreed to let us show her progress photos thus far into her journey! I cannot wait to see what this lady can accomplish. She has already inspired so many people just by being honest about what it is that she is doing. Be on the look out for her updates!

Devyn's Testimony:
I started talking to Mica in 2013 online, about getting back into working out. We were just really getting started when I found out I was pregnant with Jayda. The whole time I was pregnant, I promised myself there would be no excuses after she was here and I would get back in shape. Sure enough, just a couple months after she was born, Mica contacted me about starting back up. It was exactly what I needed. Here I was with 2 babies under 2, and I was too overweight and exhausted to keep up with them. She sent me a meal plan and my workouts and off I went. The first couple weeks were HARD. I had never really eaten healthy and it was definitely an adjustment. I decided to try prepping my food to make things easier. After the first 8 weeks, I could not even believe how much better I felt. More energy, less body aches, more focus...I could go on and on. There was no turning back! Mica helped me realize that it's about so much more than a short term exercise program or cutting calories to see quick results. It's all about fueling your body with fresh foods and simply getting up and moving. My goal very quickly went from a short term work out program to a complete lifestyle overhaul. Not only has my life completely changed for the better, but I had no idea how much my changes would encourage those around me. My parents, grandparents, co workers, and friends. Mica is in the business of changing lives with her knowledge, motivation, and accountability and I truly couldn't be more thankful for her!
Candice’s Testimony:
I have always been one who could eat what I want and not worry about gaining weight. I was very active. That is until about 3 years ago. All the eating out, sonic coke stops, and sweet treats finally caught up to me. Around Thanksgiving 2014 I weighed as much as I had weighed 9 months pregnant. I was tired all the time and lacked the energy I used to have. I couldn’t keep up with my two amazing little boys. On top of that I disliked the way I looked and getting ready was a nightmare. I would try on several different outfits hating how each one fit. It was time to make a change!!
After hearing me say several times it would be nice to have a personal trainer help me and keep me accountable, my husband contacted Mica. He got all the information I needed to get started and gave it to me. The rest was up to me, I finally had no more excuses. I contacted Mica and she quickly got to work on a plan for me.
Mica was absolutely wonderful! She was always there to answer my questions and help in any way. The encouragement she gave helped keep me going. Remembering that “at the end of the day progress is progress” no matter how insignificant I thought it was. This was not a diet, it is a life style change and I couldn’t be happier. The first few weeks were the hardest, as it took some time getting used to the healthy foods, but it did get easier. Mica not only taught me how to eat right and balance my meals, but she helped me get my confidence back. I am no longer tired all the time and I actually have energy!!!!
